I found my consultation with Jacqui to be extremely helpful and it amazed me that she could describe my daughter's behaviour and needs without even meeting her. I look forward to starting our journey with the Twickenham branch.

What happens in a Parent Consultation?
Having experienced ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) first hand and undergone considerable research into ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) including involvement with professionals from many different disciplines, I can offer you a 50-60 minute consultation to share my knowledge and give you guidance and support.
If you live some way from London and would rather see a local therapist I can discuss what is available and put you in touch with professionals in your area to get your child assessed and treated.
ASD can be a minefield when it comes to knowing where to go for help. Often a diagnosis is given but no plan is put in place to address it or advice given on what to do next. Parents can be left feeling at a loss whilst still trying to come to terms with the news that their child has a condition for which a “cure is not established”.
Many other parents have children whom they know to be different in some way but the child does not have a diagnosis and again little advice on what to do is given.
I can give you answers to the following questions and more, as well as the names of professionals who can help, saving you time and effort trawling through websites and information whilst not always knowing exactly what you might be looking for:
-
How do I get a diagnosis?
-
Is my child likely to have ASD?
-
What therapy options are available?
-
How successful are the different therapies likely to be?
-
Where can I apply for funding to help with the cost of therapies?
-
How do I go about choosing the right school?
-
How do I get an EHC Plan?
-
What support can I get for myself and family?
There is a lot that can now be done for children with ASD, including the complete alleviation of certain behaviours and difficulties. If you want answers to these and other questions, book a telephone consultation with me now and I can guide you. A Parent Consultation is £55.
